One last chance to make it count
The party really felt like it started when we came back from our evening photographs.
We started seeing the evening guests arrive, the music was going, everyone was ready to let loose and suddenly it felt like the final part of the day was here.
But there was also that awful realisation that we'd been trying not to think about all day...
It was starting to come to an end.
So there was only one thing left to do.
Send it out in style.

Doing our first dance in front of everyone was amazing.
We'd built the whole thing ourselves and spent every Sunday for three months practising it, building it up piece by piece. For the song, we'd agreed years ago, before we were even engaged, that we'd use a mix of Bryan Adams' Heaven and DJ Sammy's version.
To finally see all of that come together, in front of everyone, was incredible.

I couldn't have had my own wedding without doing my party trick of going through a whole Eminem song.
For anyone who's not seen me do that before, no, it's not just that one song. Yes, I know most of them.
Maybe, I will do it in the future.
