The Reception
This is where the fun begins
The hard work was finally done.
For the first time, we could actually stop, take a breath and see everyone else's reactions to everything we'd spent so long planning. The venue, the colour scheme, Megan's dress, Conner's suit, all of the little decisions we'd made over months and years were suddenly there in front of us.
It was such a lovely moment for us to finally relax and let the day take over. From this point onwards, there was nothing left to plan, nothing left to worry about and nothing left to fix.
We could just enjoy it.

Seeing everyone's reaction to my wedding dress.
This was my dream dress, and seeing everyone's faces and hearing all the compliments when they finally saw it was truly amazing. After spending so long imagining that moment, actually seeing everyone's reactions made it feel even more special.
Conner's memory
This was the point where I truly relaxed.
It was a bit like getting onto a rollercoaster, at this point, there's nothing else you can do. You're strapped in, the ride has started, and all that's left is to sit back and enjoy the day.
